Buffalo and Carolina. Buffalo has endured a lot. They are an absolute mess. Not Edmonton bad...but that's a dumpster fire discussion for another day.

I'm not convinced that Arizona deserves that player. So many ownership and attendance issues...I'd rather the franchise players go to teams that will have the city, fans, league responding favorably. Essentially...I'm not sure McEichel can save Arizona the way it needs to be saved.

No, NO, HELL NO to Edmonton. They don't deserve either player. Columbus...as a Pens fans, no. Lol.

Buffalo or Carolina. Sabres have a nice future and are making moves to accommodate one of McEichel. Canes have the skilled guys to make McEichel successful right out of the gate, which would be fun to watch. Columbus would be OK.

I think both of these guys have got to cheering for Buffalo, right? Maybe McDavid has his eye on a team like Toronto, but you'd have to imagine they are hoping to avoid a few teams. Maybe Edmonton is seen as a good landing spot because of their great young players and the potential of being lauded as the guy who finally made things right.

For me though I think a place with the up and coming Sabres or with the Canes where they have a sneaky good core in place (Staal/Staal/Lindholm/Skinner/Faulk) seems best. Columbus is a close third. Would be completely neutral to them winning the lottery.

1. Carolina (I lived in Charlotte for a year so I have a soft spot for the Canes)
2. Columbus (fans deserve it)
3. Arizona (only reason they're 3rd for me is because I don't want McDavid in the west)
4. Buffalo (I don't like that they are completely tanking on purpose, but I'd rather see them win it then Edmonton)
