World Cup: if Sweden goes to the final - are they the 2nd best hockey nation?

Canada's best junior players are playing in the NHL when WJC comes around - generally not as true for Finland/Sweden/US. If you took the "ideal" teams each year, Canada would win the majority of those tourneys.

It already happened in ringette so I think hockey will be next. Canada has been disappointing in the juniors this decade.

On par with the rest of the countries (since 2010).

Forgetting the fact that most top selected canadians go directly into the nhl, skipping the WJC as 18 year olds altogether.
