A shot?

Price and Weber for Canada
Galchenyuk and Pacioretty(if he gets it together) for USA
Radulov, Markov, and Emelin for Russia
Plekanec for Czech Republic

I think that's it

Crosby and Letang for Canada
Malkin for Russia
Maatta for Finland
Hornqvist and Hagelin for Sweden
Kuhnhackl for Germany
Kessel for USA

I could also see Murray making Canada, but that's pretty unlikely I'd bet. If he'd be made the unanimous starter for the Penguins and he'd put up over a .925 for the next season and a half, I think he might make it over Crawford.

:sabres

Locks:
Zemgus Girgensons (Latvia)
Rasmus Ristolainen (Finland)
Dmitry Kulikov (Russia)

Probable:
Jack Eichel (USA)
Robin Lehner (Sweden)

Has a Shot:
Ryan O'Reilly (Canada)
Kyle Okposo (USA)

Sven Andrighetto also could. Let his team in points at the WC (ahead of Niederreiter and Moser).

EDIT: Reway for Slovakia if he recovers.

Yeah this ^.

The only other possibility would be Reway for Slovakia. Is he still one of ours?

Likely:
Gaudreau (USA)
Backlund (Sweden)
Frolik (Czech Republic)

Possible:
Jokipakka (Finland)
Giordano (Canada)
Brodie (Canada)

Gio and Brodie are both playing LD now, and Canada's much deeper at RD than LD - depends largely on injuries or if one of them has a great season they could be a #6-#8 on that team.

Locks: Landeskog (SWE), Varlamov (RUS)

Probables: Rantanen (FIN), E. Johnson (USA), Duchene and MacKinnon (CAN)

Long shots: Soderberg (SWE), Zadorov (RUS)

Lundquist,Zucc,Mcdonagh,Grabner(dont know if Austria qualifed?) Are locks
Kreider,Stepan,Miller,Vesey and Hayes all have a chance at team USA
Buchnevich and Zibanajad Maybe?

Tavares - Canada
Greiss - Germany
Halak - Slovakia
Seidenberg(if he's still playing) - Germany
Leddy - United States (who knows with their management though)
Kulemin - Russia (Russian NT seems to really like him for some reason)

:edmonton

Locks
- Canada: McDavid
- Germany: Draisaitl
- Slovakia: Sekera

Very low-outside chance
- USA: Maroon
- Finland: Puljujarvi
- Sweden: Larsson

It's hard to project 1 year and 1 month into the future, but I definitely think he would have to be heavily considered.

He deserves to be there, especially considering Canada's natural winger depth relative to their Center depth. He always attends WHC for Canada, and is a great player for them. Oilers fans were always frustrated why he never made it (2014 and the world cup). At the end of the day Canada will likely win whether Hallsy is there or not so you can't judge too much.

Matthews and JvR for USA.
Zaitsev for Russia.
Nylander for Sweden.
Komarov for Finland.
Marincin for Slovakia.

Marner and Rielly could one day play for Canada, but I don't think they'll make it yet.

Pavelski - USA
Hertl - Czech Republic
Donskoi - Finland
Vlasic - Canada

No one else is guaranteed an invite

For the Flames:

Gaudreau makes Team USA
Frolik makes Czech Republic
Backlund makes Sweden
outside chance Jokipakka makes Finland since he played there in the WC, but I doubt it.

feels bad man :(

:flyers

Probable

USA: Shayne Gostisbehere
Russia: Ivan Provorov
Czech Republic: Jake Voracek, Radko Gudas
Austria: Michael Raffl

Longshot

Canada: Claude Giroux

Kopitar - Slovenia
Doughty, Carter - Canada
Quick - USA

Maybe's Muzzin and Toffoli for Canada.
Old man Gaborik for Slovakia.
