thanks JimUm no, you weren't. But age aside, your stellar House League career is meaningless. I know your Mum still has all of your participation trophies but they mean even less now than they did back then. But I'm sure they look nice in your old bedroom.
Some will, some won't. But whether they do or not is completely and utterly irrelevant to the discussion at hand. You do not have insider access, so stop pretending that you do. And even if you actually did (), they wouldn't be feeding information to someone like you who would be posting about it on an internet forum.
So get over yourself, and go back to polishing your House League participation trophies.
What was said?
Riddled, not rittled (not even a word).
That aside, do we really want to go down the same road that we just got off?
The only thing that can save us from Murray is not having up to date medical information, which, with the Sens, there's a good opportunity they're not there.at this point would it surprise anyone if they circle back to Mrazek? Probably get him for a 5th.

If we get another guy that does bring some more confidence for me. Just having a backup would be amazing.Only if Murray is the only pickup. But there is almost zero chance it will be Murray and nothing but if they are combing through Murray's medicals.
I only recall those "participation badges" handed out for school exercise program where you'd either get a gold, sliver, bronze or that "particpation badge" lol For Hockey it was trophies but never participation ribbons or whatevs lol and,..this is the 60's and 70's I'm talking about not the 80's hahaI grew up in the '80s too and yes, there were. I played rep and got them from some tournaments in which we sucked (and that despite having a future 1000 game NHL player on our team). And our House League most definitely handed them out - I've seen them and have a bunch of friends who received them.
It was nothing like today, but they most definitely existed.
There is no way Reimer would come backHow about James Reimer or Jake Allen part of the tandem?
Jake Allen, absolutelyHow about James Reimer or Jake Allen part of the tandem?
Looked to me like Matty's stick hitting da ice when he swept and missed at puck .. but he made a great effort to get back .. no shame there .. folks you can't have peewee house league level tending in any playoff game never mind game 7 .. we all love Soup but as a tender it is time to move on and find a money tender
100%, just brutal.View attachment 567363
At this point Matthews has already swatted at the puck and Gallagher still has control of it thru the stick check with a open shooting lane.
This is definitely a stop Campbell needed to make.

Any expected number is by definition subjective and susceptible to the bias of whatever community college dropout collecting those stats is watching the game in between eating twelve slices. With the eye test, at least you only have to deal with your own subjectivity.Eye test also susceptible to bias, numbers are empirical
This is the first buyout window, though no doubt they want Murray's future settled now.Buyout window closes tomorrow. lol
You still need someone who can outplay the opposing goalie in elimination games. 2-10 in six years (if my math is right) doesn't cut it.Goaltending didn't let them down in game 7.
Jake Allen, absolutely

Sounds like itOh my, we're actually going to end up with Matt Murray aren't we.
Yep, because no one knows whether he will still be on IR come the second buyout window. That's a game they can't play if they are serious about moving him. This is the first buyout window, though no doubt they want Murray's future settled now.
I think it's been warranted for the best part of three years. There were quite a number of fans that have seen this coming a mile off.I think the Dubas criticism is pretty warranted at this point. It's not that he doesn't have a plan, it's that by all indications the plan sucks.
Doesn't seem to be a feasible way to make the goaltending and team much better at this point. And we're talking about a team that hasn't been successful with depth and solid goaltending. Now the leafs likely won't have either.
Still could breakthrough with a 'lesser' team on paper but it's feeling more and more like spinning tires, band aid fixes and shuffling deck chairs at this point. I don't see a vision for improvement from this management that they once had.
All numbers can be manipulated. That is a fact.I would be very happy with Allen but I remember reading somewhere that the Habs said he isn't going anywhere due to potential issues with Price's health.
Not entirely.
Christ have you never heard "there are lies, damned lies, and statistics"?
I agree but this guys proposals all hinge on taking no salary back. It’s totally unrealistic if not impossibleI doubt the Leafs could expect 0 cap dollars coming back in either of those hypotheticals but I would be confident you could get clear of both and receive value back at a modest to decent price. Muzzin would be a McDonagh type player on a shorter deal but more injury questions. Tavares’ main problem is he doesn’t bring enough value and blocks us from finishing the puzzle. But for many teams there will be value there.
Then again, please tell me which team will take on 11M in salary with no money going back!!How do you know that? How can you speak in absolutes when you are only a fan? the answer is you can't , I appreciate your confidence but doubt your knowledge. How can you know what the needs or the motivations are of any one of the 31 GM's? A top 6 play making center in your opinion has such little value, the Leafs would have to retain money to trade him? Your theory sounds tenuous at best.
