Of course. This is simply amazing. None of these players and non of us followers would have ever had a chance to be invoved in a final of best on best tournament.
Considering the fact that many players on this team are rather old it's quite likely this is also the last time we'll see such a competitive team Europe.

next time we'll let you add Sweden.

Thoughts

1. It should have been called Team World with the hopes that the whole world outside the countries that had teams would jump on their bandwagon. (said tongue in cheek but if there was a good enough player from somewhere else they should be on it)

2. Seriously the majority of the European hockey world has been knocked out and will need some time, but anything close to putting the series to a third game and there might be some interest. They would certainly deserve it if they don't already.

If Europe wins, we all win because this is the tournament the NHL is trying to sell everyone on so they don't have to go to the Olympics. That sell job becomes exponentially harder with reigning champion Team Europe.

I'm a European with no representative on the team soooo I don't particularly care who wins. No more so than I cared about any game in this tournament.
