If Bruins Make the Playoffs Does Pastrnak Get Hart Consideration?

I don’t think he should. This is a team that finished with 109 points last season and they aren’t that different from last season. Many in the offseason were arguing they’re better than last season.

They’re underperforming but he’s not carrying a last place team to the playoffs like some people are acting.

I'd be bitter to if my team was paying Nylander more than him.

Losing Ullmark and Debrusk without replacing either is a different team. And for the record, Pastrnak is the reason the team hasn't been in the basement the past few years.

He's been getting ~60% more goals and points than #2 the past 3+ seasons. No one on the team besides him has had 30 goals or 70 points since 2021-22

He is once again one of the top 5 offensive players in rhe league.
McDavid , Mackinnon, Kucherov, Draisaitl Pastrnak.
Will he win Hart because he's on a lousey team with ass goaltending ? No. But NHL and media like to throw in what they refer to as "worthy" candidates.
Honorable mention more like it. Pasta is among them again.

they have this goalie called swayman, they added two of the biggest available UFAs, in lindholm and zadarov hahah.

He is carrying an entire roster of under performing players into (potentially) the post season.

Swayman has been pretty trash this year.

Marchand is a year older. A top pair D has been injured for like 75% of the season so far. Coyle has disappeared to add that Lindholm hasn’t been a great signing to date

Don't argue with Jungle Jezebel. Stay in your lane

Never change people , amazing how the bruins hate makes people not able to make a rational unbiased sports decision or comment . Pasta has been doing this last 2 years playing with career 3rd liners as linemates. If you look at the players above him in the points race and compare the talent the others are playing with its actually pretty comical and amazing what he's able to accomplish. Also of note is the fact that the Bruins PP has been brutal this year and he could have had easily 10 more PP points if not for that. Sorry but this is just facts .

They're not underperforming. They vastly overachieved the last two years.

Seems really unlikely they make it. They lost 5 in a row before managing to beat the lowly Penguins and just lost Marchand.

He’s having a heck of a run, but only an 8-6-3 record despite his 15 goals and 33 points, isn’t going to spur them into the playoffs.

Talk about dragging a team along….

He has like 27 more points than any other Bruins player and seems to be the entire offense of that team.

With zero support, if he’s able to drag the Bruins to the post season does he win or at minimum be a finalist for the Hart?
In a word NO.

Hart shouldn't be given to players who helped team team to a 15th place finish in my opinion. Much bigger accomplishment if the player helped his team to a 1st place finish since that is a bigger accomplishment.

Only 3 players get to be nominated and no he’s not going to be considered. There’s probably 5 or more guys in the conversation over him.

He’s a hell of a player but the bruins are just not that good to get him a nomination.

Well he did that already and didn't get the Hart in 22-23 when he had 34 more goals (124% over 2nd) and 46 more points (68% over 2nd) on the team that set the record for most points ever in a season
