From the ESPN Player chat :

Hi. Will you be streaming the World Cup of Hockey in September for viewers in Europe, especially in France

For information regarding what games will be available please visit the schedule page below. The schedule has not been fully updated for the upcoming month of September and more information should be available soon.

espnplayer.com/espnplayer/serv...

If the game is not listed there it will not be available for streaming as broadcasting restrictions are different from the US and Internationally. The schedule page will be updated frequently and all content is subject to change so please check back frequently for updates.

Didn't help me much...

I only know that Eurosport is doing the World Cup for the whole Europe, I'm not sure what legal stream do you want as the only legal streams by my understanding could be only the one of official broadcasters, so perhaps Eurosport, or the other, non-official streams we fans sometimes use for watching hockey...I'm not sure how to help, but I hope you will be able to watch :)

Here in Canada, we will probably get the Team Canada games on www.CBC.ca, unless SportNets hogs the TV rights!
yep. I know that ESPN broadcasts the tournament in various countries, like Australia, or many of the South American countries...I think that's cool

Are you sure it's the whole europe? In France there is never any hockey on eurosport. I'd get it right away but there is absolutely nothing on their website ...

Any UK-based world cup of hockey fans know where they're gonna be showing this?

It doesn't look like it's gonna be on Premier sports or even on ESPNplayer. I can't find it on Sky or BT sport.

In Switzerland TV24 and TV25 are airing every game! These channels are also available on Zattoo if you don't get them on regular TV. But unfortunately I haven't found any channels that are also airing the pre-tournament game, so I guess we have to wait unti 17th.

there will definitely be online streams on the internet though. (for the pre-tournament games)

Heading out to WCOH

Making the trip up North from US for the prelims.

Was hoping for any recommendations/tips/etc. traveling up to Toronto and catching the games, thanks.

Do you have confirmation for Eurosport?

I've tried emailing them but they haven't got back to me. The TV guide doesn't look too promising either. Nobody in the UK seems to know where this thing is gonna be broadcast :shakehead
