So if the canada games are on nhl network i take it they arent on espn +. But when they arent on nhl network they are on espn plus. Ie. Tomorrow nhln shows usa at 9 am, so canada game is available on espn plus same time. I have espn plus but not nhln. So might need a vpn. Wish it wasnt so confusing and there was a tournament package.

Just get a VPN, switch it to a european ip, then just copy and paste the youtube link and it works fine
