$7 - IMO don't overspend on a goalie plus the bruins have a nice crop of goalies who could step in. Anything over 7 you keep Ullmark and bring up Bussi.

Rask got 7 in identical circumstances a decade ago. Offer him that and let him pick the terms. He clearly loves it here.

Rask got 7 over 8 years at an idential point in his career so its around 8-9.
Don't wait either bc whatever team trades for Ullmark probably gives him 8-9 too on his extension.

I think you just gotta pay him whatever hes asking more or less, unfortunately. Not like you can strongarm him and tell him 6x6 or youre walking. They need him.

I think it will be done before FA, because they need to really define what they have to spend in FA. I think somewhere in the 8 million range is about right, anything less is a steal, but it might be a bit more
So in 2 years the Bruins goalies are Dyck and Bussi?? Because Sway will get over 7 Million, and likely Ullmark will get more than that the following year (unless Linus wants a big hometown discount to stay)
I’m thinking between 7 to 8, add a year to keep the cap hit lower. If the cap explodes, he’d be easier to move at the end of it.
