If marner not on pk he dominate this whole game, I guarantee you. It's not shameful to say he got gassed near the end. Look at Kucherov he looked like a 50 year old man who smokes 20 cigs a day huffing and puffing by game 7 against Leafs and he has to do less than Marner.

Actually this game doesn't even exist because Marner and Nylander would have locked up game 6 together.

I don't understand why he's PK1. Not even compromise with PK2.

• 50% of the cap tied to 4 forwards (did not show up in Game 7s btw)
• Not enough cap left to have decent depth
• Upcoming contracts
• The goalie he signed -> Mrazek will be the #1 goalie. Leafs will not be able to afford Campbell btw
• This core shits the bed when it matters so we need decent depth
  • BUT no cap space left for decent depth
• Hired a rookie coach that continues to SUCK when it comes to playoffs
• Does not even have BALLS to call out biased anti-leaf officiating
• This season the Kadri trade looks even worse than it was orginally

There are so many F-ups.

I do like not throwing away the 1st rounders this year for another 1st round exit. This team did not show up to play in Game 2, Game 4 and Game 7; while turtling in the 3rd period in Game 6 with only 4 shots on goal. Part of is on coaching; he is the one that hired the coach.

If there are any major moves being done then I'd prefer it is not Dubas doing it. Let the new GM come in and make those moves. If you want to remain status-quo then I don't really care whether dubas stays or goes.

If dubas makes any major moves this off season I am going to take a break from Leafs. His screw ups are so massive that I just cannot invest myself emotionally with this team anymore. Life is short; and the experience that is life is being miserable for a lot of people (leafs fans) because of 3 guys making ridiculous decisions

3) Keefe

3 guys should not be ruining it for thousands perhaps millions of Leafs fans. Period!

How does Nick Paul beast us (our D made it easy for him but can't deny his effort level) but mik and engvall continue to do nothing.

Goes without saying I want Trotz in for Keefe. Tampa had the lead and shortened their bench. We're still rolling 4 lines until 6 minutes left down 2-1

Its par with the course, 2 seasons ago Leafs got shutout by a 1b/backup quality goaltender in an all or nothing game 5, last playoffs against the Habs Gallagher and Perry, both 3rd line quality players at that point scored 2 goals for the Habs which was too much for the Leafs to get over. Of course it ends up being Nick Paul, on a team stacked with elite talent, is the one who ends up putting the dagger on the Leafs season.

I think we like the idea of having Trotz like elements on this team, but somebody more plugged in would have to decide whether Trotz's work in Washington would be compatible with the core group. Otherwise the coach and roster aren't in sync.

Marner trying to skate directly through players and turning the puck over time and time again is not from him being tired. It has to do with his mindset thinking he's the best player in the world. He has always held onto the puck too much because that's what he did in junior. He was allowed to do that, even encouraged to do so when that is not the way the game is played. 1 player cannot win a game by themselves, but he believes he can.

Time to start looking forward to next year. What changes can we make to improve the team? Some tough decisions need to be made. I want Nylander to stay but his days are numbered. He has no chemistry with JT and you're not breaking up Marner and MAtthews. Waste to have an 80 pt player on a line with Kampf. Trade him for a defenceman. Let Mikheyev and Lyubushkin walk. Sign Spezza to league min as 13th forward.
