Matthews battled injuries and that may be a factor with Bedard as well. Another issue he is isn't close to being as big and strong. Great talent obviously, but it may take him awhile to hit his stride.Based on his hype and Junior production, it'll be disappointing if he doesn't end up at least a Matthews level player.
Matthews was a premiere goal scorer in his first season. He took a step back in his second year but scored over 30 goals in years two and three.
Bedard shot at 10.7% last season, which seems low for someone with his shooting ability and pedigree. He should have a better shooting percentage and he'll have better linemates next year.
I'll say he scores 36 goals and 45 assists for 81 points in about 80 games. That should still be scratching the surface of his potential.
That’s very specific ; awesome ^81gp

I expect his shooting percentage to jump a bit, as he shouldn't have to rely so much on creating his own shot. His shot volumes should also climb, so I expect a pretty big jump in his goal totals.
Can you break this down into 5on5, 4on4, and 3on3 to be more specific? You're being way too vague with you predictions.81gp
