You left out the dominate, but low score for and high score against option.

I think there will be at least one game of each option. Which one repeats determines the winner of game 7.

Will be like last year but more dominating by the Oilers.

We will turtle in our zone and hope not to get a PP for us.
This kinda worked last year with lucky goal because they had a funnel in the goal.
This year they upgraded their defense and got a strong goalie in that Skinner kid.

I don't see any way to contain the Oilers offense but our offense will flat out.
Sorry

I don’t see this team beating Edmonton, some guys got the stuff but not enough to beat them. I also expect the Oilers to physically abuse us because they can and they will get away with it against us, and if we do they’ll destroy us on the PP.

My only caveat is if for whatever reason the Oiler Goaltending sharts the bed, then we got a shot IMO.

Sucks because if we had better mix of grit and a fully healthy roster we’d have a pretty good chance to beat them.

With a healthy Fiala and Vilardi i would say the Kings beat the Oilers in 6 but without those two, I just don't see how they out score the Oilers.

If Fiala and Vilardi are healthy, I feel like our best chance to win is actually a wide-open game. It sounds stupid, but our roster is built to make individual stops against everyone except McJesus better than theirs is going the other way.

Let's just play firewagon hockey and hope Korpisalo pulls some of his bubble playoff magic while feeding McJesus a healthy dose of Mikey, Doughty, Kopitar, and Danault.

I’m rooting for you guys in round 1

I’ll be actively cheering against the oil as well as cheering for the jets lol

I was also on your bandwagon last year. Why so glum so many of you? Oilers are due for a regression and the kings are a better team this year. I think you guys upset the so called west conference favourite

There will be at LEAST one game where the Kings get blown out. Everything will look fine at first but one goal will lead to four more within the next five minutes.

Losing. But could have had a chance to win.

Losing becasue:

1. Fiala and Vilardi will not be 80% if they even play
2. Durzi will get too many minutes. Finish series at -4
3. Lizotte will play hard and be mostly a liabilty, non producing for himself and his line
Yet, TMAC will play him constantly
4. As McDavid said "we need to be hard on their top players" and they will
and can do that...the Kings - outside of Anderson, need to play their top players
hard and cannot.
5. TMAC. Will play Durzi, Lizotte, Edler too much. Boston would lose a series with those 3.
5. Byfield, Kupari not being able to score 1 goal.
6. Most Kings playing their worst hockey of the season the last 3 weeks, versus the Oilers
playing their best hockey since Gretzky era.

Wouldn't look into no. 6 too much, disappointing....yes, but not suprising. First game against the Oilers, Kings lose Anderson courtesy of McDavid. Durzi gets real mad at McDavid, and for whatever reasons decides to give him a breakaway for the second goal. Kings play both games without Fiala/Vilardi and no Anderson and more Durzi on the second game, which was a 1 goal game but of course Nurse scores the empty netter third goal. Had the Kings lost at full strength both games....yeah, they've got problems.
