Yep - likely goes both ways, but it's hard to tell with JTs lack of emotion.Is it possible JT is also frustrated with 88s lack of compete?? If there is any friction, pretty dumb for Leafs to allow this to go on for this long if flipping 16 and 88 is the solution IMO. Or are we missing something?
The friction seems to have been there for a while. I know JT would like to have Marner on his wing (who wouldn't?), but I don't think breaking up Matthews/Marner is a good idea.
