Nathan Horton was at Ristuccia this morning for an informal Bruins practice.

So nice to see him back on the ice!! Hopefully he can stay away from any more trouble!! Probably a good idea for him to tone down the physical game a bit. Okay to check and push, but no need to fight anymore.

OT: Did he always have those tattoos?

Glad nasty Nate is back and seemingly symptom free. He's a huge part of this team.

OT: I think the arm tattoo is relatively new, I could be wrong though. I've just never seen it.

But great news, and I have this funny feeling Horty is going to bring it this year.

Calling it now, Nasty Nate will lead the team in goals for the regular season, just beating out Seguin by maybe one or two goals. :D

Seriously though, it's good that he is healthy again. Our team plays a lot better/physical when he is playing.

I have a feeling he is going to struggle early on, quite a bit actually. He'll pick it up after a few weeks and wind up with 15 goals.

Just spitballing.

When it was first announced the NHL was back I wasn't that excited. Now I am getting there.

I have missed the games and you guys and gals.

I hope Nate will be fine ! This extra time off must have been good for him.

I don't have the link, but I think Dobby's on his way back from Russia. Someone linked an instagram photo from his account with a picture of a plane ticket from Russia to JFK with his name on it.

If he stays healthy and focused he will be a major key to this years success. Would be great to see him overcome his head injury and be part of this team for a few more years. The guy can be a beast when he is 100 % .

Random question.. does anyone know if other teams are doing informal practices? especially with their captains and all that? i assume so, but i'm just wondering. It seems like they're getting down to business and hopefully the next couple of days will be good leading into camp.

Horton is a huge part of the line he will possibly play on[with Lucic and Krejci] Those two are just not the same without Horton. Krejci needs to play with a legit sniper to have any success and while Lucic is a nice combo of skill and toughness, he isn't skilled enough to complement Krejci without another legit 1st[or 2nd line]line winger with him.I think Horton will start slowly but will gain momentum as the regular season winds down.I am not too concerned if he doesn't put up big numbers initially,he is going to be understandably tentative.

Yes, they all are. Reports are posted all over if you want to do some google searching.
