Actor Jon Polito, who was best known for his roles in Coen brother films like "The Big Lebowski," "Miller's Crossing" and "Barton Fink," has died.

"He appeared in over 100 films, countless TV episodes and on Broadway."

Yet another one gone.

I did not realize he was in civil partnership till I saw an interview with his spouse and a few off his former colleagues talking about he is an example of how a gay male can play straight roles without it being a distraction or media story
