I spent a lot of time trying to understand why Hockey wasn't as popular as Soccer (Football for you euros). The only reason I can see, if we ignore the fact that ice isn't as easy to produce in places like, say Qatar, is that Hockey is way too expensive. Then it hit me, why not remove sticks from the game? That would make the sport much more affordable, it would look a lot more like Soccer (the most popular sport on Earth) and we would finally be able to get rid of that kicking motion stupid rule. Three birds with one stone.

Let me know what you think.

I don’t know, but wouldn’t be hard to control a puck or even a ball with just skates? There’s a reason why a player is borderline useless out there without a stick.
