Hockey Player / Fan Motorcycle Club?

Hi,

I'm a huge hockey fan and also very much into motorcycles and was wondering if there was anyone else out there that fit into this mold.

If so I was looking to get a motorcycle club going for just hockey players / hockey fans that also like to ride bikes.

Apologize if this isn't the best place to post about this, but none of the other sections on this board seemed correct.

It's a pretty narrow demographic you're appealing to. I've owned a lot of bikes, Hondas, Triumphs and Harleys, but never made the hockey connection with them. But good luck.

I like both (am looking to buy a bike right now as I can finally afford one). Not sure what a club actually means, but hey, I do enjoy both hockey and motorcycles.

Also, The Lounge is a wasteland, so good luck finding serious posts.

My thinking was that they have motorcycle clubs for everything now, why not hockey?

I was thinking that would make for a good excuse to get together at Bike Week, or other events, get some beers and raise some hell as a group with similar interests.

Would be easy to put together, basically, the club patch would be whatever your favorite NHL or minor league team is, and then just have a single top rocker with the club name...

Gonna move forward with this over the off-season. Half of the interested people like Goons MC and the other half likes Ice Holes MC. Will make up a concept vest design and post back in a few months.

Here is what has been decided so far...

- Club won't have an official patch, just a top rocker that will read "Club Name - NHL City Name". The rocker will be in the colors of the team you are a fan of or play for. If you're a big minor league fan then so be it, or heck if you want to fly your beer league team colors and patch then do it.

- The traditional large back patch will be the jersey crest of whatever team you are a fan of or play for.

- Club will be coed.

- Club will try to raise money for St. Jude and local hockey programs.

- Club's purpose will be to raise money for kids charities, support local hockey programs, and have fun.

I'll post more as more details get hammered out over the summer.
