I had some help from a few HF members with my book so I thought I would post about it here since "Hockey Hotbeds" is set to release on December 2nd.

I have a question for you, did you have a specific reason for including Poprad for the country of Slovakia? Not Trencin or Kosice.

Because for that section I did an exclusive interview with my idol Peter Bondra who grew up in Poprad.

Like, what'd Johnny Bower have to say about playing Defence for the OPJHL Downsview Beavers with Ricky Jodzio, Paul Titanic & Mario Giallonardo? Being Drafted in the 18th Round 231st overall by Washington in 1974 then....... nothin. Like, what happened Johnny? Does your book answer such questions?

Johnny Bower was amazing to talk on the phone with. The man is 89 years old and still has got it all going on! We talked a lot about how he got into the game and how he progressed through the minors to the NHL.

Hopefully some of you guys can buy my book and check it out! I promise you won't be disappointed
