Raymond has outshone him so far this tourny imo.. He has the tools though no doubt... Maybe a chance on this PP for Holtz to put one in

He's outshone everyone.

Holtz hasn't been that bad. He's been one of Sweden's best players. Maybe not dominant so far, like we've heard he can be, but not a poor showing, unless its a situation where he dominates or disappoints.

guschin just made me say "how did he do that" out loud and im watching the game by myself
How has he looked overall?

Holy shit. I just saw that the shots are 40-11 for the Russians. The power play time isn’t even significantly slanted. Suddenly winning this game matters a whole bunch more; nobody wants to draw that team.

All tied 3-3 now

It is now 4-3 Russia going into the 3rd, but I think it might be a case of premature burial on my part. The Americans found a way to make up the deficit. More power to them. For the Russians, it seemed like a case of "well, we outshot them 21-3, and its 3-0, so the game is obviously over. No need to exert ourselves." It should be a good lesson to them.

However, it is fair to say that the Russians are badly outplaying them through 2 periods. While the USA got 3 goals, two on power plays from deflected shots, they have generated no offense and have had very little puck possession. I didn't check the shots total, but Russia has to be getting close to 40 already. However, they squandered a big lead away, so now they will have to hold on in the 3rd to pull it out.

That's the beauty of junior hockey lead changes can swing like crazy.

These kids are running on adrenaline and prone to big ups and downs unlike the pros.

This game honestly seems faster than the WJC showcase last week
