Like I said, two people I know are currently arguing this so I wanted to be able to show them what the majority thinks, since neither will listen to one person.

Their argument is basically whether it’s better to have a future 1D or 1C.

The one is saying he’s 100% convinced a Dermott ends up a 1D and the others 100% convinced Hischier is a 1C.

kid is well on his way. If he was on pretty much any other team this board would be all over him as a future top pairing guy

Common man. Dermott might be a future #1 D, but the odds are definitely low. Hischier is the EASY choice.

Choosing between Hischier and Dermott is like choosing between the 50 dollar bill and the 10 dollar that has a 10 percent chance of turning into a 50 dollar bill and a 5 percent chance of becoming a 100 dollar bill.

When was the last time that friend of yours got drug tested?

Hischier is gonna be 1C, Dermott is no guarantee but I think he will be a high end 2nd Pairing D.

Any GM in the league would take Hischier over Dermott, Liljegren and Kapanen(as already briefely touched upon in this thread)...

Uhhh future lottery #s pls? I love how you can magically predict he MAY be a #2 -- but nope no chance he EVER becomes a #1. Right.

not denying that. but to imply dermotts ceiling is a 3c/ fringe 2d is silly.
