Who do you think has the fastest wrist shot in the NHL? I've heard people mention guys like Pettersson, Laine and Tarasenko. Bedard's looks lethal. Not talking about accuracy or quickness of release, just who gets the puck moving the fastest.

Edited for a little more clarity.

Valtteri Filppula was the master of backhanders and wrist shots because he had such soft hands. Now that he's no longer in the league it's probably less clear. Lots of good ones. Personally I like Steven Stamkos' wristers a lot but I don't know if his are the hardest.

What do you mean by hard? How much strength they put into flexing their stick? Does how fast it comes off the stick matter? It will be the player using the stick with the highest flex (higher requires more weight) that bends the most, because they can release it with the most force.

I say that because someone mentioned Bedard who used a 70 flex, which can't take much strength to shoot. While he can more easily shoot without leaning over, that doesn't make his shot hard.
