I really dislike mixing skaters with goalies but I get it for our purposes.

Voted/would’ve voted (I think? Not checking)

McG
Pickering
Blomqvist
Pono
Murashov
Koivunen
Pieniniemi
Brunicke
Ilyin
Broz
Howe

Given pre-season I’d mess around with middle part. swap Brunicke for Pieniemi and move him above Koivunen/Murashov

McG
Pickering
Blomqvist
Ponomarev
Brunicke
Murashov
Koivunen
Pieniemi
Ilyin
Broz
Howe

Def will be looking to move Brunicke, Ilyin up a lot if they have big seasons. Thought Pieniniemi was quite bad from what I saw in the rookie tourney so he may need to be adjusted down if he doesn’t crush the OHL.

Here is my Top 10:

McGroarty
Blomqvist
Pickering
Koivunen
Ponomarev
Murashov
Brunicke
Poulin
Broz
St. Ivany

My No. 11 is Ilyin, and I think he will be top 3 when next year starts. Also, I place a lot of value in defensive defensemen who can have lengthy NHL careers without much fanfare. St. Ivany just looks like that type of player. Hopefully, he can have a 10-year career even if he is starting late.

I still think Poulin can be something in this league, even if he is a top-notch fourth-line center who brings energy, size, versatility and some scoring upside.
