HFLeafs WJC Pool, Year 2

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'm good with whenever. I tend to get eager and am usually the first to start, then we finish by the 18th and have 10 replacement picks because we started too early and was unsure about some players attending so earlier isn't always better

Yea I think a little closer to the start of the tournament would be better for that reason.

I'll start the pool sometime today when I get a chance. Like in C4Gs pool, the first few rounds I'm not going to worry too much about 12 hours as they're the most important rounds. Just because I'm a little worried I'm going to be too busy tomorrow morning/afternoon.

I'll announce the draft order and we'll go.

This works for me. I'll make the draft order when I get the chance after the cuts. I doubt t it will matter much for the first few rounds though.
 
I forget last if this happened last year or not (may have been a potential with Robertson, not sure anyone else). But what happens if we start before the 15th and then we find out that guys like Jarvis, Sillinger and even Byfield get loaned to the tournament?

The lucky person that picks them gets them irregardless of when. If you wanna take a risk and grab one of those guys before it's announced, and they don't come, you get a replacement pick at the end of the draft.

With Canada's cuts about to go down, I'm going to run the simulator now. We'll start as soon as 1OA picks.

Hate to go goalie with my first pick but picking first sucks especially this year with no real clear cut offensive superstar and dont want to be left with no goalie option when picking #20.
