3 inches taller? What are you talking about? If you think Berggren is 5'8, you've never watched him play a game.

Eliteprospects has Berggren listed at 5'11 and Lysell listed at 5'10 ...but sure Lysell is 3 inches taller.

Also sure Berggren didn't have the best year of his career at 18, but at 18 Lysell didn't exactly light up the scoresheet either. He also only had 3 PTS, but in 26 games.

it’s hard to take any point you make seriously after your first post directly comparing the two when one was much younger. Pretty clearly disingenuous to prop up your teams player.

There are a couple reasons why Podkolzin's statline underrates him.

- He is a fantastic checking forward. He wins his pucks regularly at every level we've seen him at. He's very strong and his game should translate very well to the NHL level. He'll be a beast in the corners and in front of the net.

- He is unfortunate to be a young forward in the SKA system. They really don't mind giving 5 minutes a night to developing kids and it makes it nearly impossible for someone like Podkolzin to break through. When he did get ice time, in the playoffs, he scored.

I'm not a Canucks fan, btw.

Now if we could just get people to pay attention to Kirill Marchenko...

Thank you for the educated response, this is all I was looking for.
