Not a huge Danielson fan. I think before that 2023 draft alot of people have him in the same expected range as Musty and Ritchie, who went way later. Danielson was 10 days away from being eligible for the 2022 draft, and hence was one of the older d+1 players in the entire CHL last year. I think what musty did in the OHL, lekkerimaki in SHL, or Bourque in the AHL were all more impressive.

Bourque was in his D+4... Not really comparable to Danielson/Musty/Lekkerimaki.

But he was still the MVP of the AHL. Like I said, what he did in that league IMO was more impressive than Danielson. Once you get past 20-23 in this ranking though it's literally wide open, so not a big deal either way.

Yeah I'd expect that a first rounder playing in the AHL in his D+4 would be impressive...

Yep more impressive than a top-10 pick playing his D+1 in the WHL. Hence why I mentioned him.

Yep, almost like there's a mammoth gap in development, there.

Ryan Strome also much more impressive than Danielson, being a 40 point NHL forward last year. D+13, but still.

They're 2 years apart in age...not night an day like you're making it sound.
You have weird rounding skills considering Danielson is 2 years 9 months younger. (That's way closer to three years than two, just to be clear)

And yes, it kinda is night and day. Especially at that age.
