tough choice.... I kinda like Musty here

43G 102P in 53GP
Sudbury OHL in his D+1 (age 18)
6'2 200lbs

I think San Jose got a nice steal at 26
Ya that musty pick was nice for sanjose…. I’d also say I really like Calum Ritchie and think he gets pretty underrated.

I don’t mind mateychuk here, putting up similar #s as zellweger at same ages.

As a Canucks fan I'd like to pick one of my 2 guys here but took ritchie and thought long and hard about Mateychuk who is going to hit the ground running.

Jiricek was also given serious consideration, if he played in a bigger market, ie had a bigger fanbase he would have been gone 10 picks ago.

Heck I'm taking Jirecek now.

you know thats Adam, not David. He was only ranked around 15th this past draft.

Pretty much a close race overall this time around. I'd rather not have had Parekh voted in so high because even at draft time his simply not the level of prospect that even Mateychuk was. Parekh isn't in the same tier as Simashev, Willander, or Sandin-Pellikka either.

One player who's done nothing but improve and impress is Josh Doan and he's gotten zero love. Stepped right into the NHL and looked like the making of a gritty 2RW. 9 points in 11 games, 23 SOG. One of Tuscon's top players all year. I think he's gonna turn out to be a better winger than many of the forwards still available
