Why is Nazar on here and has a vote?

There's people who have scored better than him in the AHL not even an option.

I voted Clarke again but it's just going to be influenced by the big market fans here. I just don't think Hutson/Edvinsson are the next best 2 defensive prospects in the entire NHL. I mean Hutson is praised for his offense, Buium just outscored him in the same league being 2 years younger (and bigger) and Clarke was just point/game in the AHL being 1 year older yet bigger. In what world can someone vote Hutson over Buium? What's the reasoning?

Buium/Sennecke/Silayev/Clarke/Yurov/Mateychuk for me.

I think we all know the reason.

I agree to a point. But really don't see what Clarke has done to put him this high. A guy like Matt Coronato was taken a few spots after him in the draft and had a slightly better PPG in the AHL last year and I wouldn't have him this high.

Ya Hutson might be the most over rated prospect on these boards, well behind Demidov.

I’d take Reinbacher before Hutson and I don’t think I’d take Reinbacher until at least 15

I'm with you on Buium vs Hutson, but I think Edvinsson is one of the best and I'd take him over Clarke. Clarke is magic at times but both clubs will enjoy the party, whereas I see Edvinsson being able to tilt the ice in his team's favor.

I like Tij here. These power forwards are underrated on these forums. How does Lambert have more votes than Iginla. Preposterous!... I just wanted to use that word

I prefer Buium to Hutson (have been voting for him since #4 and think he was the 3rd best prospect this past year, Minnesota got a steal), but that's a bit dishonest. They're one year apart, and Buium outscored him by one point in 4 more games. Hutson had a higher PPG in both his college seasons than Buium's first season.

I think Buium will be the better player, but Hutson has already shown he can be effective at the NHL level, and I'm confident his offense will translate better than Buium's (though I think Buium gets overrated offensively and very underrated defensively).

Hutson played 2 NHL games. He hasn't shown anything.
