Really glad you're making this poll series again. I voted Celebrini #1.

any chance you can change your poll settings? Either allow to view votes before voting, or allow to change votes after voting? Sometimes it helps to get a sense of what others are thinking - especially when it comes to prospects who not everyone is as familiar with.

Id rather not for that reason, as it would just make people go with the majority without it actually being their own true opinion. If someone is uninformed about these prospects I would rather them not vote.

That said, youll still have a good idea by looking at all the comments and results of the previous poll.

TOP 5 for me:
Celebrini
Michkov
Demidov
Smith
Levshunov

1. Celebrini
2. Michkov
3. Smith (Michkov was the only one voted higher than him last year who's still a prospect; he did lead the NCAA in scoring)
4. Gauthier
5. Nikishin (would've been 3 but he'll be 23 in October, and idk how long he'll be in Russia; age is a bigger factor though)

Should be the clear top 5. Demidov, Levshunov, Clarke in the next group. Lindstrom, Leonard after that.

I think I pretty much agree with that top5 … after that it’ll start to get a bit complicated

Celebrini should win this 1 easy

I think there’s some recency bias here, Michkov was already putting up numbers in the KHL in his draft year. Does anybody really think that Celebrini would have had 20 points in 27 KHL games this season? If we swapped their draft years, Michkov would be getting all of the hype that Celebrini is getting now.

Recency bias on what? They both had great years. Celebrini is younger, safer, and just went first overall...no doubt he'll win the poll. Michkov will come 2nd though, he's a great prospect.

Don’t think it’s a recency bis.

Celebrini is more accessible to North American fans and I think that’s prob the difference in this voting…. Prob more like a 1a/1b scenario… same tier

Recency bias because Celebrini was picked first overall a few days ago so fans likely have seen way more highlights from Celebrini compared to Michkov. The other poster is right when he says it’s a 1a/1b situation, Celebrini is running away with the vote right now however, and I don’t feel like there is a gap between them.

I thought last year's draft dropped off steeply after pick #3, and that top 3 is all in the NHL already. So my top 5 prospects as of now looks mostly like this year's draft. Sorry Michkov fans. Sorry Smith fans.

Celebrini
Demidov
Buium
Michkov
Lindstrom

I haven't seen enough of Nikishin yet, I'm open to putting him high based on what I've seen though. I'm also considering Simon Edvinsson around #5-#7, he's looked fantastic to me.
