Devon Toews is not the 13th best dman in the NHL. Crazy if we actually vote him in there.

Toews is a great player. Sad to see him getting overrated like this, it’s going to lead to a backlash against him.

No shit, I would take everyone on the list over Carlson and most of the adds.

For how much shit offensive defensemen get on HF, it's amazing that Carlson has ripped ass defensively for a 13-year career with NO backlash.

I’d say he’s more inconsistent defensively, and mostly average for his career outside of the 17-20 period when he was getting Norris votes for his points. His underlying numbers were actually surprisingly strong last year
