JT is coming off a 99p season, the only top 10 scorer without a teammate in the top 25 (or top 50).

This poll is probably going off the rails after the top 10. Geno going ahead of bunch of guys in their primes doesn't feel right. He might still be putting up pts but doesn't look nearly as good doing it on a nightly basis anymore. Sometimes he's really slow.

Idk, Malkin is a generational Center. Even at an advanced age, he is better than most of these prime aged star Centers in the league today (outside of the ones already on this list, and I’d still take him over Stamkos today).

I am going to take a bit of a leap here. I think Jack Hughes will establish himself as a top 10 C this year. This poll next year, I expect him to slide in just under Drai and Barkov.

Elias Lindholm just put up more points and a LOT more goals than Zibanejad and Eichel, all while being the second best defensive forward in the game last season. Is he just losing this based on lack of reputation at this point?

10th in points amongst centers, 4th in goals, and 2nd in Selke voting, yet isn’t a top 12 centre?

I don't feel like he's been that great the last couple years. Obviously some missed time and aging probably affected his conditioning but yeah, Sullivan has started to manage his minutes a bit more the last couple years, playing career lows at ES. He can still make those plays, especially on the PP, but personally I'd take a player like Zibanejad who is the 1C for his team and can play those 100 games the Rangers need him to, to have success.

Geno is one of those guys who, even as a guy trending down can still put up high point totals and that's a testament to his talent. But like I mentioned before, I've definitely seen a decline in his motor and he's never been the greatest 2-way player to begin with. Moving forward here I wouldn't pick him over some of the younger guys pushing to do the heavy lifting as 1C's for their teams.

But who knows maybe he can still return to 19-20 form for a short while. I think he said he needs to be better and he’s no stranger to responding with high quality seasons.

It might be Eichel, but it also might not be. I really don't know what to expect from him at this point.

It also might be Elias Pettersson, if the "good version" shows up out of camp this year. When he's rolling, i think he's probably better than anyone else on this list. But that's not exactly something you can take for granted. The consistency isn't there.

Hughes or Barzal are probably the "safer" bets. You kinda know what you're gonna get there.

He had ACL surgery last off-season, which is why he missed the first half of the year and his skating was poor last season. He already looks way faster now.

He very well may be a top 10 center next year in....points but not in overall value, although that may happen in the future.
