I think Guentzel is, and will continue to be, a better player than Skinner. I know, people will just yell bias take. But to me, Guentzel's shown he's as good a goal scorer, but a much better playmaker.

Headshots/60 isn't a tracked statistic, so he probably falls just outside the top 31. His point production wasn't anywhere close either.

Marchessault should have made it. He's the best player on the team with the 4th most wins (reg. season & playoffs) in the last two seasons.

Benn won the weakest Art Ross race in recent memory 5 years ago, big whoop, he sucks now. Laine is all kinds of awful despite his goals.

Benn is one of the more well rounded wingers in the league. Despite taking a bit of a dip last season to focus on two-way play. Guy can do it all. Score, set up, fight, hit, defence, faceoffs. Laine is what he is but what he is is arguably still damn good for a 21 year old. If he manages to round out his game, he's a damn good player.

Skinner accomplished last year what Laine accomplished at 20 years old with about as much usefulness too. Except his team didn't make the playoffs. Skinner doesn't even belong on the less honorable mentions list of top 31 wingers.

He spent an entire season on mcdavids line. (This next part is not to far fetched of thinking though). Unless mclellan is an idiot through and through and had mcdavid on the wing and draisaitl as the center then i can only guess is yes draisaitl is a winger. Same kind of thing as with pavelski.

Not really. People taking the time to post here year round have hockey in their veins. We stay up to date using every resource we can find, from social media to advanced statistics.

I'd trust the average poster here with their hockey knowledge over the sheep that work at NHL.com
