So a horrible interference call, and now Babcock gets rung up with a penalty for unsportsmanlike.

Just... good for the tank, but **** it.

Like any of that matters. Ghost is better than all of them and he's still a rookie. This was his worst game ever, yet he's still shown more talent in this game than Seth Jones or Ryan Murray ever have.

The Wild are examples of how it's better to be lucky than good.

They have the largest PP differential in the league too.

Go-ahead goals on back-to-back nights have been because of soft calls.

As you said, good for the tank, but damn is the officiating ever brutal...

Sounds like the habs last night. Pateryn gets hit from behind and Therrien gets a minor for finally caring.

Needing to lose makes it "acceptable"

ghost was a disaster tonight. He should have been benched after that pathetic work ethic on the oilers short hander. that was all him :shakehead
It wasn't bad work ethic, but definitely a completely soft play by him. He thought he could shy away from the contact and chip it up the boards, but obviously that didn't work out so well.

He had two blunders that led to goals and a few other mistakes, but he hit a post and could've had a few points tonight. Just not a good night for him or the Flyers in general. Doesn't take away from the season he's had at all though. Rookie defensemen have bad games; he's only had a few and tonight was by far the worst.

Not for a lack of trying by his twin, Clendening.

seems like a worse skating, better box protecting version of Schultz-- which I will take. Schultz's biggest feat for me was allowing guys in close so damn often, and Clendening stirs it up/stands up for his teammates
