4 goals & 8 assists in the last 11 games (including this game). Laine has been on fire lately, offensively & very solid defensively & driving play on the top line. Best hockey he’s played tbh since we drafted him. IMO

The big difference is that Crosby can single handedly put the team on his back, and drag them into the playoffs. McDavid isn't at that level yet, albeit Crosby is working with a tad more help.
