I don't think I've seen the same player break 2 sticks back-to-back.

Giroux broke 2.

At least the officials cleaned them up now

What is the point of the "NHL" network when there are two games on but they are showing some documentary style garbage instead.

That should be five and a game on Stutzle. Left his feet and drilled Parayko in the square of the back.

Wow, what a horrible call.

Under IIHF rules sure, NHL though...definitely doesn't meet the criteria.

Stutzle left his feet. That's an easy charge.
What does leaving your feet have to do with anytjhing? Charging should be for coming form a distance while increasing your speed. He came from a distance but he appeared to coast into the hit.
Should be boarding. Didn't see where the hit landed. If it was high should be 5.

It's all discretionary on boarding. They very easily could have (and should have) assessed a major when a guy leaves his feet to drill a guy into the boards. Add to that Parayko was bleeding and it's a complete head-scratcher that they didn't call it.

It's a bad hit, and I wouldn't have a problem if the NHL decided to call hits like that as a major, it's just not how they call it from my experience.

Shame we don’t get to see Makar today, the guy loves making Edmonton look silly. Colorado has had a shit year on the injury front

That was textbook boarding? Literally sees numbers and jumped right into his back.
Yeah, I guess he left his feet before the hit, so they went with charging

Coming from a distance doesn't matter. Remember when bitch Torey Krug literally skated from the other end of the ice to throw a hit, but he didn't take any strides.

Charging is if you're taking strides right up until the hit and the number is greater than 2, or 3, or if you jump for a hit.

The NHL is spotty on both as they let air Kronwall do it whenever he wanted..

I get the instigator there, but I've seen the exact same play and they don't call it.

NHL is such trash when it comes to reviews, penalties and whatnot.
