Good get for Tampa Bay getting Engblom. He's a really great analyst and it sucked that NBCSN cut him from the postseason analyst role. Nice replacement for the Chief.

The exact polar opposites in style though. Chief was the ultimate homer. He felt the pain. Engblom is better analytically, better spoken, (probably sober) etc etc etc. He lacks the mascot quality though.

I mean... Chief called JT Brown TJ Brown for almost TWO YEARS before he realized it wasn't right.

This is a fun game to watch. Kucherov and Kane are looking like the best players for their respective teams so far.

Almost 10 minutes in and it seems like a battle of board work with not a lot of Shots going through. Still, it's nice to focus on Eichel, Stamkos, Kane, and the triplets line. This does have a making of a pretty good hockey game.

Why do you say that? This can be a good one.

I honestly find the Lightning to be a very boring team to watch, I know everyone calls them exciting because they are good and score lots of goals but they play the game too straight forward in my opinion, too system oriented. Last year's Cup was probably the most bland I've seen.

I am interested to see how Kane and Eichel play though, probably only reason I'm watching. That and I'm trying to get a bang for my (non) buck with the free center ice.

Yeah, Buffalo's D has been doing that the entire game, so a bit weird to suddenly call it.

They could've just as easily called Ristolainen for holding there too though, as he reached out and spun the puck carrier after that.
