Beck, but I considered Mesar and Xhekaj. Mesar has superior numbers to Beck, and Xhekaj has the size factor, but ultimately Beck seems more guaranteed, and with respect to Mesar a third line C is more valuable than a second line winger.

Sean Farrell severely stagnated last year, I'm not sure if he should even be top-15.

Add Koivu.

could've gone Beck but i went with the guy who put up pretty solid back to back seasons of pro hockey in Engstrom. it feels like a very strong top 10 group of prospects.

add Eriksson

Owen Beck. Our 8th ranked prospect, would be as high as 3 on most teams, and perhaps even 1st on the Leafs. I personally have him over Cowan and Minten.

we good.

I do think Engstrom potential is the highest at that point, but I’m not sure he will get their

So I went with Beck but it was very tight

I was tempted to go with Engstrom, and also Kapanen. But how their games will translate to north america and the NHL is an unknown for me.

So I went with Beck while I await to see Engstrom this year and Kapanen likely next year.

While I like our pool, and for sure some teams like the Leafs don't have much, I still like quality over quantity. We want the gems.

Struble, Harris, and Barron were, and still are, good prospects, but likely won't bring much trade value. But, at least all of Guhle, hutson, Reinbacher, Mailloux, and Xhekaj look like gems.
