Beautiful prospect pool!

Demidov and Hutson have unreal potential. They will both change the PP of Habs. They will have both high production for many years to come.

Reinbacher is a steady two-way RD, he have all tools to become a top pairing D.

I'm a big fan of Logan Mailloux, I believe that this guy if he continue to work on his all around game, he will be a totally beast.

Michael Hage have all tools to be a solid top 6 player, can't wait to see him in NCAA.

Joshua Roy is a wildcard, he have the hockey IQ to become a very special player. He is a very good two-way guy, can pass, can score. Reminds me so much Tyler Toffoli.

Adam Engstrom and Bogdan Konyushkov have both having top 3-4 D potential. Great picks by Habs with them. They show really good things so far and I can't to see Engstrom in AHL.

I miss a lot of good like Beck, Fowler, and more. That's prove the beauty of that prospect pool!!

It’s an exciting pool, but I’ve been excited I’m about our prospects before. I’m not sure h of this will compare. I really like Demidov. Hutson, Mailloux, Reinbacher, Fowler and Hage. Outside of that, I don’t know.

Yeah, it looks terrific on paper. Just need a bit more star power to go up front. Demidov is the only surefire top 6 forward. With luck, maybe they have more in the system that can develop beyond middle 6 forwards.

Any guesses as to who will be the biggest riser next year? I'd go with Logan Sawyer with an HM to Owen Protz.

All the 2024 draftees not named Demidov are obvious candidates. Most people have very few views of them and many of them are moving to better leagues this year.

In the less obvious picks, Eriksson would be mine. Volokhin could also go up a lot in value, but I don't think it would have the same impact in rankings.

Guys like Farrell and Heineman could go up in value, but that would likely mean they made the Habs and wouldn't be in this ranking anymore.

The two biggest potential fallers to me are Mesar and Kidney if they struggle in the AHL.

Wasn't Trunev a future 2nd liner at some point?

By the time he got the title in 2015, Trunev was in its 7th year post-draft and was a depth player in the KHL.

Trunev and Avtsin are two Russians who got quite a bit of hype post-draft and ended up not doing much.

Trunev had the bigger KHL season (29 points in 58 games) but retired at 32 after not playing during Covid and two dissapointing seasons in the Belarus and Kazakhstan leagues.

Avtsin is still playing, although he moved to the Slovakian league in 2023.

Volokhin and Eriksson could really make a move this year. And possibly Sam Harris is a guy who, if he starts this season like he finished last year, could jump in rankings as well.

Oh yeah, Harris as well, didn't cross my mind at the time.
