Well, an argument could easily be made that he's the greatest goalie of all time never to win the Stanley Cup. And you could also call him the most consistent of all time. But Roy, Brodeur, et al. would come before Henrik Lundqvist in my mind for GOAT.Happy Birthday to the greatest goalie of all time!

Happy Birthday, King Henrik. Who deserves a cup more than this guy?
Henke would need to be traded to another team for that to happen.
Happy Birthday, Henrik!Do you still believe that the window is open for the Rangers?
nevesis says it's also Joel's birthday today. I am working to confirm.
Do you still believe that the window is open for the Rangers?
How many goalies play at a high level at 36? Brodeur. Devils made the finals in 2012. The Rangers lost in the conference final to them. Brodeur retired 3 years later. Are the Rangers winning a cup in the next 3 years? They should think about the future. Shestyorkin. Huska. Georgiev. The Rangers have a lot of young goalies in the pipeline. Not all goalies work out. Will Halverson be able to stick in the AHL next year? Nell? The Rangers need to make sure one of these players are a hit."36 years old today."
About as warm of birthday wishes as I expected though. A little surprised it didn't go into how goalies' number deteriorate from 36-40.
