lol @ Voynov trying to figure out something to say to Lupul and couldn't muster much because Lupul just kept dropping F-bombs.
 
I was disappointed they didn't give JB any interviews or focus on him playing again his former team. Nice editing and cinematography, but this version felt like it was going through the motions. No player really stood out unlike the past two series.
 
I was a little annoyed with Voynov when that play happened, though watching it that closely, I am 100% behind him, good on him to not take any of that bullcrap. Just goes to show the disconnect we have with the ice. Awesome commentary :)

Glad he didn't take any crap from that clown. Lupul is a punk.
 
I still think the NHL needs to get with HBO and do a game of the week with open mics on the ice. The ratings would be incredible.
 
I'd still take a healthy Lupul. He's a good leader and a great LW when he's not hurt. Hard to get on Lupul for doing stuff like that when I know my favorite players do the same. I know Richards is always *****ing or bugging someone on the ice.

But I love Slava and his bad language. Sometimes I wonder if the first word they teach these guys is ****.

So true. I think that even though the first line would be more skilled other teams would get so tired of that line trolling them to death :laugh:

good point, hadn't thought of that. I would have loved to hear some JB smack talk re his former team.

What surprised me is that I was even more uninterested in both teams than I thought I would be. Sure I hate both teams, but past WC games have been eastern teams that I don't have too much baggage with.

Both drw and tml fans have a sense of entitlement that is waaaay too prevelant on HF, and then to have to watch these 2 teams for the WC? How much original 6 crap am I supposed to put up with?
