Georgiev , Gauthier , 2nd
For
Lankinen , Hagel, Carpenter

Hawks need a futures G so that’s their main piece
Gauthier is under contract
I don’t see them getting a 1st but a 2nd plus

Hagel is the main piece for NYR
Lankinen isn’t great but reality is if Shesterkin gets hurt Rangers won’t go far w whoever the backup is
Both he and Carpenter are UFAs w not much value

Hagel is the only Hawk I have heard of in that deal and I know that's not enough.

I'd move the 2022 1st for Hagel.

Slowly developing player that has demonstrated a nice scoring touch in Juniors and in the AHL and has done well the last 2 years in Chicago.

Will probably be in the 20's for goals and quite possible 40's for points when the season is over.

His age is a perfect fit, and he has two more years at 1.5 per and can play RW?

Sign me right the Fug up for him at 2.5 more years providing the 3rd line with some scoring ability that the NYR's lack in a BIG way.

Any Chicago/NYR trade discussion MUST center on how much it will cost the NYR to get Patrick Kane. The rest is just not important at all.

Does nothing for the Hawks. Gauthier has looked impressive for maybe 10 minutes worth of ice time this season.

Speed, size, and respectable hits count.
Kid needs to learn how to score otherwise he's an AHL All Star at best.

Georgiev is terrible. He already cost us a point per game Dman. Just let him go before he causes more damage.

Drew Commesso is the Hawks’ future goalie.

Terrible proposal on all fronts.

Hagel could potentially get a 1st + and if not they keep him. Georgiev and Gauthier are practically waiver fodder at this point. A late 2nd is a late 2nd. This doesn’t start the conversation.
