Has anyone ordered a custom stick from Bauer?

I ordered a custom stick on the 8th of July and it doesn't look like it even shipped yet. Then again, maybe I am just under estimating how long it takes to make a custom order (flex, length, curve, right/left, color, name)

I was told they quote 5 to 7 weeks so I'll wait a little longer for shipping confirmation.

send an email asking for an update. Don't know why you would buy a custom stick though. They don't last long enough to be worth it

My highschool team used to fill out forms at the end of the month from my bauer. For us it was typically 4-5 weeks, but we were a reoccurring massive order so Im assuming yours will take longer.

What do you mean? I'm just ordering a certain curve and flex basically. Last long enough opposed to what?

I think it was just a general comment. Sticks lose their pop, and even if you don't care about that they eventually just break.

I've broken 2 sticks just in summer season and IF I ever did a custom order I would scrape up enough money to buy multiple sticks so I had a reserve or two once I got accustomed to the curve flex etc.

I haven't...

And that's because I'm generally not that good...

Seems like a bit of a waste to me, but hey that's just my 2 cents.

Because you are paying full retail+customization costs for a piece of equipment that is going to last you 3 months at best. You could easily get that same stick without the customization on hockeymonkey for much less

If you have the cash, why not? A couple of friends on my team order custom sticks. I believe they both ordered 82 flex, you can't find that in retail Bauer sticks.

The one great thing I miss about using mybauer was the curves that were impossible to find in any retail or online stores. Kind of like the p89 which really isnt available anywhere else.
