Has any team ever came back from 0-3 deficit in NHL history?
This is the first time it'll happen in the SCF, and pre 1950's hockey doesn't really count as it wasn't a truly professional league at the time.
Yes. Kings did it like 10 years ago and the Flyers did it a few years before that.
I think the Flyers were even down 3-0 in game seven before winning 4-3.
Its even crazier, I'm pretty sure the FLYERS roared to burn down a village from 0-3 to win 4-3.Not only that, but the flyers came back down 3-0 in game 7 and won the game 4-3.
It almost sounds too fake to be true.

The teams were pretty evenly matched. Then David Krejci broke his foot in game 3 and Simon Gagne returned from injury in game 4 after missing the first 3 games of the series. That was all it took to tilt the balance in favor of Philly.

Original six stuff doesn’t count anymore.
So no.
Agreed, Flyers and Kings are two of my favourite original six teams but 2014 was too long ago.Original six stuff doesn’t count anymore.

Yeah, there has to be at least 7 teams for it to count.Original six stuff doesn’t count anymore.
So no.
It has been a professional league since it's beginnings with the NHA. "National Hockey Association of Canada Limited, was a professional ice hockey organization with teams in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. It is the direct predecessor of today's National Hockey League (NHL), and much of the business processes of the NHL today are based on the NHA." It was and still is a professional league. This is the first time it'll happen in the SCF, and pre 1950's hockey doesn't really count as it wasn't a truly professional league at the time.
And it shows how bad Jay Woodcroft severely underachieved coaching the OilersI'll tell you what this is, this is the most amazing coaching performance I've ever seen out of Kris Knoblauch.
Neither of those teams are original 6 lolAgreed, Flyers and Kings are two of my favourite original six teams but 2014 was too long ago.
Scores were:Didn’t the Kings blow out the Sharks in their four wins? I remember the games weren’t close.
Damn, I wasn't aware that the original six era stretched deep into the 2010s...Original six stuff doesn’t count anymore.

Yes. Everyone knows the Islanders won 4 straight Stanley Cups between 1976 and 1979.So the islanders come back from 0-3 to win. Come back from 0-3 again in the very next round but lose. And then rattle off 4 straight cups?
