Mac Hollowell has 20 points in 15 games as a '98-born RHD. Think that merits at least a bit of buzz, but I don't read/hear all that much about him. What's the reason for that?
He's listed at 5'9" and not really considered a prospect given his age and that we signed him as a UFA after Toronto chose not to qualify him.

I think he's mainly a PP guy. Maybe the Rangers will re-sign him and maybe he'll get a chance in the future, but right now we have plenty of better players ahead of him (Fox, Gus, Jones).

Hopefully he's not Dallas Eakins 2.0 and twenty years from now we remember his as RHD depth during an Eastern Conference or Stanly Cup Finals when he's become the "IT" coach for wherever the Arizona Coyotes end up.

I can't remember the last time I felt this good about the culture that we've got going in the AHL. Never?

I hope this isn't just lightning in a bottle, and Drury has planned out ways of sustaining this for years, even as they lose some of the young guys to the NHL.
There's been a clear culture shift since Drury and Lilley took over. It's been about 2.5 seasons now and it's no longer a gong show like when Gorton and JD were running the organization. Prospects are being put in positions to succeed, the ones they are drafting appear more mature/emotionally intelligent, and better coaching.

Othmann, Sykora, Edstrom, Berard, Garand, and Rempe are all coming along nicely. And even guys like Robertson, Scanlin, Henrikson, and Korcazk are contributing in meaningful ways.

Considering how well he is do on offense you would expect there might be a problem on defense. He doesn't play on the penalty kill. That should give you an idea of how the coaching staff considers his defense. And Toronto, which is weak on defense, didn't qualify him. He is a very good AHL player and a very good signing for Hartford. But when the Rangers were short a defenseman the team called up Conner Mackey not Hallowell.

I'm not saying I was right, cause the reality is that most of these guys won't make it, but I love the players the new staff identifies. They have the "piss 'n vinegar" I mentioned before the season. Like Shorsey says, it doesn't matter if you love to win, you have to hate to lose and these kids are like that. Even if they aren't NHLers, investing in a good AHL team keeps the pipeline flowing, gives you players that can step in and fill a role at anytime and promotes the winning mentality you want from top to bottom in the org.

Arrive early and in a bad mood.

As always thank you to @Ranger Ric, @nyr2k2, and @Clark Kellogg and anyone else i missed that keeps us with good Pack updates. Funny enough, I haven't been able to watch this season and it's the best team in years. Figures. Haha

Noticed from the last couple games the quality of the feed is really good. Is this a recent change or something exclusive to the Lehigh Valley AV infrastructure?
Not sure when it happened but you are right, the quality did improve.
At the start of the season there were games that boarded on unwatchable. The video would stutter and then it would speed forward aling with the audio.
