While 03-04 was a lower scoring year I’d say it was also weaker for the top end, similar to 14-15. St.Louis was a more rounded player but I think this is Kucherov pretty easily. If playoff are included then maybe it’s St.Louis.

This is 100% Kucherov, and it's not close.

This is one of the absolute strongest seasons/harts of the cap era. Maybe it's not top 2 or 3, but it's still up there.

I was actually looking forward to some of the round 1 matchups you had initially listed.

I think it's pretty clear McDavid 2023 is going to win this tournament - but it would have been great to see McDavid 2021 vs Ovechkin 08, and I thought Hall 2018 and Ovechkin 2013 was a good matchup too.

I'm happy you didn't change the Crosby 07 vs McDavid 17 matchup. Those seasons are comparable in many ways, so looking forward to that one.

Same here tbh, but I do plan on replicating a lot of the matchups I had originally made if they make it out of the first round so all hope isn't lost lol. We'll still get some really good ones but I'm spacing things out a bit.
