Think Creed will be next. Seems like Bolton and Smith might be a little more difficult.

Think they pay the guys to protect Mahomes. So long as Reid still has Spags, I’m going to guess that they trust him to coach up the replacements they need to trade to replace free agent who leave on D.

Don’t get the sense Spags is going to land a HC job.

Honestly is there any weakness with KC at this point?

Winning 3 in a row is a tall task but the team won this past year with a fairly average Mahomes (Far below his standards)

Mahomes + Good D + Good ST + Good coaching

You’d think defences would be able to devise a scheme to limit Kelce and make the WR beats them.

Massive credit to the KC scouts on their defensive drafting and Spags and his defensive coaches on coaching up the young defenders.

The WR room is still a question mark but it’s hard to envision it being any worse than last year. Brown, Rice (even missing a couple games) and Worthy has an incredible ceiling but I remain skeptical if they’ll hit it. But you have a point, on paper it might be the strongest roster of the Mahomes era.

There were many cases of that. They went however many weeks of not scoring a touchdown in the second half of games. Receivers needs time to get up to Mahomes’ pace.

But Mahomes is going to figure it out. If you want to beat the Chiefs, you have to beat him.
