I'd like to wish a happy nurse's week to all my fellow nurses all around the world. Nursing is a challenging job and many shifts working short leaving us exhausted and many retiring early or leaving the profession. I've been Nursing for almost 30 years and plan to retire in 2 years. I hope that our nursing shortage doesn't get worse. When we have students I do my best to teach them, but I am noticing that the nursing students class is getting smaller. I hope things get better. Nursing can be very rewarding helping patients get better and changing people's lives for the better. Anyway I hope all nurses have a great week and year.
