Happy nurses week

To all my fellow nurses I want to wish you a happy nurses week. Nursing is a stressful job and has been even more the last 3 years. We've worked short almost every shift, work days, nights, weekends, holidays. It's been tough and being a hockey fan It's hard to watch many games live because of our work schedule. I watched last night's Leafs game when I got home this morning. I watched a very abbreviated version because I wanted to get some sleep, thank God I'm off tonight. Anyway happy nurses week to all the nurses out there.

Nurses week? That is so 2021.

Nurses week began in 1985, I remember because I had just graduated and the instructors were excited to hear that Nurses were finally getting some well deserved recognition.
