Guy is a unicorn. You rarely see 6'8 forward with so much potential to do damage in the NHL. Tage Thompson did it at 6'7 last season.

chiarot will score a big hit and maybe put a player into the net but not the puck, I am willing to bet Chiarot scores off of the ice just fine, good for him.

Was also only a -1 despite the fact we won 10-2.
What a weird game that was.
I like MSL a lot more than I thought I would, and Hughes is proving a lot of us wrong with his more modernized take on what it means to be successful. We are giving youth a chance, and I really think Guhle will be a full timer. But is it enough? It's either going to be a pleasant surprise, or it's going to be a tire fire. My hope is that if it is a tire fire, it's bottom 10 in the league. If it's a surprise, I hope it's top 4 in the division. Detroit could be a pretty evenly matched test.

Detroit has an impressive cast of young talents. Still weak in goals. They added good vets in Chiarot and Perron.

Nothing like most of what we were reading in here when so many made an issue with the Habs posting an 0-8 record in preseason games.
All it took was one game last evening for the superlatives to come cascading. Of course, it’s always fun to beat the Leafs but overly extrapolating from a minute sample size and immersing ourselves in recency bias have been longstanding forum staples.
I’d rather just be in the moment and not look too far ahead, as tempting as it might be.
Notwithstanding, it’s always great to win against a hated rival. Never gets old.
