The next 6 could very well be 1-5 if we start with a loss tomorrow night.
With already beating Peg, and gave us a two win streak, I think we beat the Wild and the Hawks heading into Xmas................but we all know what happens after Xmas, reality will set in and we will lose the next 3-4 after that.....
7 game road trip, we finish up at 3-4 and head home limping after New Years......

I think we're going to see a great game from our guys... That last game was one of their worst 1-2 periods to start the game & the wild were really punishing us all over the ice. But in the third the team showed a lot of push back & I suspect there will be a little extra fire in their game to start this one.

Add to that the positive momentum they've been building, and that they've been together on the road for a few days with some good rest since the Monday night win vs Wpg...

i'm going to go out on a limb and say the habs have a great start, win this game, and then carry that forward to a win vs the Hawks to head into the holidays ridding their first big win streak of the year.

Anderson scores again. Cole finally has a 2-goal game. Habs win 4-1.

You folks are way to pessimistic. Unlike you I tend to always look on the bright side.
This will be a 6-1 road trip.
That would be a first, Habs are historically bad on the Xmas road trip.

But at the same time, the team is 5-2-2 this season when Savard plays and they did much better last season with him than without:

Any math wizards want to correlate the impact of this annual road christmas trip on our seasons?

I pulled this out
Results:
22-23: 1W-6L (14% Win rate): 68 point season
21-22: 1W-9L (10% Win rate): 55 Point season
19-20: 3W-4L (43% win rate): 59 point season
18-19: 4W-2L (67% Win rate): 71 point season
17-18: 2W-4L (33% Win rate): 96 point season

We have a 3-11 record against the Wild in Minnesota. We haven't won there in over ten years.

If we win this game, that only means we're going to win the Stanley Cup.

It's usually a listless effort in Minnesota too.

Its the new San Jose for montreal

I also remember a game against Minnesota that just had a bunch fails left right and center.

Goaltending was bad, defense was bad, and people were just falling for no reason.... then it was capped off with setoguchi tripping over himself in the shootout and the puck just glided to Price like a curling rock. Game over.

I think Marc Bergevin is conspiring against the habs next draft pick by making a deal with the rest of the teams to let us beat them so we get another middle of the pack player :sarcasm:

I actually like Evans with Anderson and Monahan.

Two C options, some grit, some experience some youthful exuberance and lots of character. It’s a decent 2nd line that even though they don’t produce a lot of points, they are getting the job done.
