I think we are seeing a guy trying to keep things afloat out there. If he had good support from another center his life would be easier and we might see more from him. Center is the toughest position in hockey in my opinion and they dynamic of the first line isn't ideal either. Caufield isn't great defensively and the revolving door of the third player on the line isn't helping matters.Like CC, his numbers are good. But neither are playing well. Both can be better.
Great that the points are there but if they keep playing as they are I don’t think they’ll sustain it.
